Christmas Time!

Christmas is always super fun. We love to get together our families and eat good food. This year we went to Aly’s for Christmas Eve and it was a lot of fun to go up to my grandma’s old house. It was fun to spend some time up there, we have so many great memories there. The kids were so excited and so wild. They were so excited to open up Kati’s traditional gift of pjs. They looked adorable!

We also had a Christmas party at The Cardon’s, its one of my favorite traditions. This year was extra special because we celebrated my Grandma Cardon’s 80th birthday. She is such a doll! I just love her. My mom and sisters took some great pictures, so  I will let them do the talking.

We also got to spend some good quality time with Sam’s family. We just love being over at their home and enjoying everyone’s company. Sydney and Rob are so generous and kind to us! We are so lucky to have such a great family. The time we spend there is always very relaxed and fun. We were extra excited this year because Sam’s little sister Brooke got engaged! Her fiancĂ©’s name is Alex and they are just the cutest! We are more than excited for both of them!

This year, and every year we are reminded how blessed we really are. We are so blessed to have our families so close so we don’t have to choose between them, we get to enjoy both families during the holidays. We are so blessed to have such thoughtful and generous families! We love them all so much and we are so grateful for them in our lives!

December 6,2011

This year my for my mom’s birthday we were just getting back from Hawaii and we could really celebrate it very well. We did get some cake and ice cream a few days later, but I just wanted to take a little bit longer to really say how much I love my mom. I am so grateful for her in my life. She really is one of my best friends. She is the most caring and considerate people I have ever met. She is so patient and is kind to everyone. She is an amazing example to me of how to live my life. She is one of my favorite running partners. Through everything that I have done in my life she has always been there to support me. Every time I run a race without her, I always cry when I see her at the finish because I am so grateful that she is there. I know I can always count her to cheer me on and get me through.

My mom is the cutest most beautiful person. I am such a lucky girl to have her as my mom! I love you mom and I hope that you had the best birthday ever! You deserve it!
